Why doesn't my peak date match the one I selected for my training plan?

You may notice that sometimes your cycle peak date does not match the in season start date, peak date, or competition date that you selected when building your program.

Don't worry, this is not an issue. The cycle peak date is correct because you may have selected a peak date that is further than 18 weeks away from your start date.

If you notice that your cycle peak date is sooner than the final peak date for your new training plan, that means that you will be peaked multiple times throughout the program.

Since Peak Strength’s programs max out at 18 weeks, your training plan will be split up into multiple cycles if you select a peak date further than 18 weeks away.

Peak Strength does this so that you can have proper periodization to prepare you for your originally selected peak date.
