Creating a receipt by referring to its information from the invoice. A receipt can be only issued once the invoice was already paid. If a payment of the invoice is not received, the receipt cannot be created.
The step to create the receipt following the invoice are as follows:
Step 1: Go to Revenue.
Revenue > Delivery Note/Invoice/Record AR > See all
Step 2: Go to the invoice that you want to generate its receipt.
Step 2.1: Creating the receipt.
Step 2.1.1: In case the payment of the invoice has not yet been received.
Click Payment > press Paid button
by specifying the payment information as follows:
Choose Advance section
Payment Date.
Add a payment method. If there is more than 1 payment method, you can click add New Payment Receive Method (if any).
Add fee and Adjustment if there is an additional transaction (if any).
Receive Payment at (payment channel).
Payment Amount.
Tax Withheld is applicable when your customer deducts the withholding tax (if any). For the accounting entries, it will debit the account of 115403 Withheld Taxes in the amount that you filled in.
After accepting the payment transaction, press the Payment button.
After the approval of the transaction, PEAK will record the account entries. You can click the Link of Journal No. to view the account records.

Step 2.2.2: In case the payment of the invoice has been received.
Select Payment > Issue Receipt

The information on the receipt is retrieved from the referred invoice and the information on the receipt cannot be edited, except
Document No: You can edit the document number.
Issue date: You can press to select the issuance date. The issuance date of the receipt should be on the same date as the payment date.
Specify classification Group (if any):
Classification setting is to group a document and accounting record to generate a report by each classification.
If you want to generate the receipt/tax invoice at the same time, please click open Issue Tax Invoice.
Remark: If the bar of Issue Tax Invoice is in a dull color, which means that the section is deselected. There may be the following reasons:
In Organization settings, you do not tick the box of VAT Registration.
The tax invoice is issued in the form of an Invoice/Tax Invoice or separate tax invoice.
The item in the invoice is not specified as an item with 7% VAT or you do not set up the VAT registration information (Issue Tax Invoice > Approve Receipt) in the organization setting.
After the approval of the transaction, PEAK will record the accounting entries and you can click Journal No. to view the accounting records.
