Connecting PEAK with LINE Shopping (LS002)

LINE Shopping is a comprehensive sales management service provider equipped with convenient tools that allow your customers to easily purchase items on LINE Shopping through the 'MyShop' system. It assists in managing online stores that sell products on the LINE Shopping platform, supporting order tracking, customer payment processing, and providing information on delivery status.

The process of connecting PEAK with LINE Shopping can be done following these steps.

Step 1: Go to the 'Settings' menu > 'Connect Apps Setting' > 'Connect Partner App'.

Step 2: Select LINE Shopping, then when you're on the details page, click the 'Connect' button.

Then, a pop-up will appear displaying the agreement and conditions for the connection. Users should understand and acknowledge the information before proceeding. Click on the checkbox saying "I have read and agree to the terms of service before connecting API with the external source." and click "Confirm".

On the next pop-up, there are steps that need to be followed as follows.

Step 2.1: Enter the Merchant Token obtained from LINE Shopping.

Users can obtain the Merchant Token from the LINE Shopping program by going to the 'Setting' menu and selecting 'Open API'.

Then click on "Manage API Keys"

If you haven't created API Keys, click on '+ Generate' and name it as desired. Once done, click on "Generate" as shown in the image below.

Once you have successfully generated the API Keys, you can copy the respective API Keys and paste them into the PEAK connection pop-up.

Step 2.2: Copy the designated Webhook URL and paste it into the LINE Shopping settings page. You can click the link below to copy it.

Then, go to the LINE Shopping page, navigate to the menu 'Setting' > 'Open API'.

Click on the '+ Create Webhook' button.

After clicking, you will need to enter the following information in two fields:

  1. Name: Enter a name as desired.

  2. Webhook URL: Paste the Webhook URL copied from PEAK.

  3. Events: Check the 'Order' box to connect LINE Shopping to PEAK.

Once you have filled in the information, accepted the terms, and click on 'Save' as shown in the image below.

Step 3: Return to the PEAK page and click on 'Cancel'. After that, the connection process is complete.

Setting up the PEAK x LINE Shopping Integration

The integration between PEAK and LINE Shopping allows the creation of payment receipts in the PEAK system for orders with a payment status of 'Paid'. The configuration for generating receipts is as follows:

Contact Setting:

  1. Contact: Select the contact person to be used in creating payment receipts. It will be displayed on the receipts generated from LINE Shopping orders. It is recommended to create a contact person as 'General Customer LINE Shopping' for easier order tracking.

Revenue Setting:

  1. Shipping Revenue: In the case of order with shipping charges, users can select the account code to record the shipping revenue. By default, PEAK sets it to account '420108 - Other Revenue'.

  2. Sales Discounts : In the case of order with discounts, users can select the account code to record the discount amount. By default, PEAK sets it to account '410302 - Sales discounts'.

Finances Setting:

  1. Bank Transfer: In the event that customers make payments for LINE Shopping orders via bank transfer, users can specify the payment channel to record the incoming payment.

  2. Cash on Delivery: In the case where customers make payments for LINE Shopping orders in cash on delivery, users can specify the payment channel to record the incoming payment.

  3. Credit/Debit Cards and e-Wallets: In the case where customers make payments for LINE Shopping orders through credit/debit cards and e-wallets, users can specify the payment channel to record the incoming payment

Transferring Data from LINE Shopping to Create Documents in PEAK:

The integration between PEAK and LINE Shopping involves automatically creating payment receipts in PEAK for orders with a payment status of "Paid." The process follows these steps:


Step 1: In LINE Shopping, there are two status tabs, namely the payment status and the shipment status. When a customer places an order on LINE Shopping, the order will be in the "None" status for both Payment and Shipment (except for COD orders, where the Payment Status will be "Pending Payment" and the Shipment Status will be "Ready to Ship"), as shown in the image below."

Step 2: Once the customer has made the payment to the merchant, the Payment Status will change to "Pending Approval

Step 3: Once the merchant verifies the payment and confirms it, the Payment Status will change to "Paid," and PEAK will automatically retrieve the data to generate the receipt/tax invoice.

If you want to check the documents generated from orders in LINE Shopping, please go to the menu 'Revenue' > 'Receipts/Record Revenue' > 'See All'.

**Note: Due to the current limitations in the integration, if you cancel an order with a Payment Status of "Paid," you will still need to manually cancel the corresponding document in the PEAK program to ensure data consistency.
