The process of recording asset purchases can be completed in two ways:
​Method 1: Go to 'PEAK Asset'
​Method 2: Go to 'Expenses' Menu > Purchase Asset

Method 1:

Go to the top right corner of PEAK program and select 'PEAK Asset'

Then, select 'Purchase Asset'

Step 1.1: After selecting "Asset Purchase," the system will link you to the New page to create an asset purchase document. If you haven't added an asset group yet, you can do so by following this link to Add an Asset Group. However, if you have already added an asset group, you can skip the process of adding an asset group and directly select the sub-asset and enter the necessary data.

Step 2.2: Select the payment method

- By cash: you can choose the desired payment method.

- By on credit purchase: select "No Payment yet (Payable)" option and proceed to approve and record the assets.

Once approved, the system will automatically record the accounting item and add the asset to selected asset group, along with the depreciation calculation. You can view this information in the asset register, either on the document page under the asset group section or in the 'PEAK Asset' menu.

When you click on the asset, the system will link you to the 'PEAK Asset' page.

You can click on the desired asset and then click on the "Depreciation" section. This page will display the depreciation calculation for the asset until it reaches its salvage value. The system will automatically record the depreciation in the general journal (JVDP) no later than the 2nd day of the current month.

For example recording depreciation in the general journal, attachments can be referenced.

Step 2: Go to "Expenses" >> "Purchase Asset"

Go to "Expenses" >> "Purchase Asset" >> Create
