NEW PEAK allows you to enter a document code to protect the data's security from document sharing via link copying. If you need to create a document password, you can follow these steps :
Step 1 : Configuration
Go to the 'Settings' menu > 'Document Setting' > 'Public Link'.
Click on the 'Edit' button > Click on 'Active' for the document access code > and click 'Save'.
Step 2 : Creating a Password
Once the password configuration is enabled, while typing the document, click on the dropdown arrow next to the link copy button > Click on 'Create New Password'.
Click on 'Confirm'.
When you copy the link and share it with the recipient, the message will be displayed as follows :
If the recipient of the document link wants to view the document, they need to enter an 8-digit password and click 'Confirm.' Once confirmed, they will be able to access the document's information.
Note : Every time you copy the link of the same document, the password will remain the same. If you want to change the password, please click on the 'Reset Password' option.
