We understand that in many instances you will want to message a host to find out more information without the financial obligation of a formal booking request. To do so, you can click the “Message Host” button you’ll find on every listing page directly beneath the host's profile photo.
Please note: if you’re being asked to enter credit card information or to choose a credit card, you’re sending a formal booking request. Head back to the listing page to use the “Message Host” button.
Once you’ve confirmed all of the details and are ready to book, you can move forward with a formal booking request from the listing page by clicking “Start Booking”.
