What is covered under the Property Damage Guarantee?

Under our property damage guarantee, eligible hosts will receive payment for the repair or replacement value of host property within the rented venue that is damaged by a guest or attendee during a booking. Examples could include damaged furniture, floors and carpets, or host-owned production equipment. The maximum value per damaged item is $7,500, and the maximum value per booking is $25,000. All damage reimbursement requests are subject to a $100 minimum that is payable by you.

Some examples of commonly approved damages include:

  • Carpet/Rug Spills (cleaning)

  • Damage to Lighting & Appliances

  • Door & Wall Damage

  • Accidental Furniture, Houseware, or Equipment Damage

Some examples of coverage exclusions are:

  • Gross Negligence

  • Willful Destruction of Property

  • Normal Wear & Tear

  • Criminal Activity Including Theft

  • Personal Property of Guest

  • Additional Cleaning Fees

  • Smoking or Vaping

  • Property Damage to or by any motorized vehicle
