Add-ons are optional services, equipment, or fees that hosts can offer guests to add to their booking. For example: food and beverage packages, equipment or lighting rental, and vendor services.
You can create, edit, or delete add-ons from your Add-on Inventory page.
To create a new add-on, click the + Add Item button.
To edit an existing add-on, select it from the list, make changes, and click Save Changes.
Ensure the add-on is set to "show on listing" so guests can view and select it during checkout.
Adding Add-ons to Bookings
During Booking Creation
When sending a custom offer, click Invite to Book in your Peerspace Inbox.
Update activity details, set a custom price, and click Continue to Add-ons to include any pre-prepared add-ons.
Review the booking details and send the offer.
After Booking Acceptance
Go to the Bookings tab in your account.
Select the relevant booking and click Update Booking.
Add the desired add-ons and submit the update request for guest approval. This works up until 2 hours before the booking starts — see How do I add charges to a booking after it has been accepted?

If a guest wants to add an add-on during or after the booking instead, request it directly in the Peerspace app: open the booking's message thread in your Inbox and tap "Request additional payment from guest." Your guest will have 48 hours to accept and pay, or dispute the charge.
Remember, all items listed in the Amenities section of your listing should be priced into your base rate and already included in the booking, like Wifi and restrooms.
Troubleshooting Add-ons
Common Issues and Resolutions
Add-ons Not Visible to Guests: Ensure the add-on is set to "show on listing" and has a maximum quantity greater than 0. Update these settings in the Add-ons section.
Guests Unable to Add Add-ons: Verify that the maximum quantity is not set to 0. Adjust this in the Add-ons section.
Errors During Booking Updates: If an add-on comes up during or after the booking, request it in the app instead — open the booking's message thread in your Inbox and tap "Request additional payment from guest." This can be submitted any time from when the booking starts until 72 hours after it ends.
Add-ons are intended to allow you flexibility to sell premium booking upgrades. They are not meant to be an itemized up-charging for basic amenities. Inconsistencies here may result in refundable guest cancellations or other penalties on a host’s account. Peerspace collects a service fee on all add-ons (Service Fee Policy).
If an add-on was used during a booking but not prepaid for, request payment for it directly in the Peerspace app — open the booking's message thread in your Inbox and tap "Request additional payment from guest." This is available any time from when the booking starts until 72 hours after it ends. Damages and rule-break charges still go through the "Your booking with [Guest Name] is complete" email.
