Add facilities and build an event schedule

Facilities

Make sure that everyone is familiar with the facilities of your event.

To add facilities to your event:

  1. Under 'Facilities', click on the empty blue field and enter a facility name. Eg. Secretary Hut or Ring 1.

  2. Press enter to save the facility.

  3. Add another facility by clicking the 'Add facility' button.

  4. To delete a facility, click the grey cross next to the facility's name.

Schedule

Build a schedule for your event that will be displayed on the public event page.

To build a schedule:

  1. Name. Give the scheduled item a name. Eg. 'Check-in' or 'Session 1'.

  2. Day. Select the date for this schedule item.

  3. Time. Select a time of day for this item.

  4. Tag. Select whether this item is 'Fixed' or 'Flexible'.

    1. Fixed timings are fixed times that will not change.

    2. Flexible timings are planned start times that may change.

  5. Facility. Select the location for this event based on the list of facilities you add above.

  6. Notes. Add notes about this item to help the public navigate your event. These notes will be displayed on the public event page.

  7. Add a new item. Click on the 'Custom time' button to add a new item.

  8. Delete an item. Click on the grey cross next to the item to delete it from your event schedule.

View Schedule

You can preview the event schedule the public will see at any time by clicking the pink 'Preview' button in the top right-hand corner at any time.

Save Schedule

Click 'Next' in the top right-hand corner to save your settings and move to the next step in the create event process.

FAQ

How can I create a schedule for my event?

You create your event schedule when you go through the create event process.

To build your schedule, click on the ‘Scheduling’ tab in the Create Event process.

To build a schedule, first add the facilities you will use during the event, such as the Tack Room, Secretary’s Hut, and Ring 1.

Then move on to building your schedule below.

The facilities you add above will appear as an option in the drop-down menu for facilities.

How can I modify the schedule of my event?

1. Click on the event, this will take you to the Manage Event dashboard.

2. Click on the pink ‘Manage’ button in the top right corner.

3. In the modal that appears, click the ‘Edit event’ button.

4. This will take you to the edit event form.

5. Click on the tab that says ‘Scheduling’.

6. Make your desired changes and click the ‘Save changes’ button in the top right corner.

7. Once happy with your changes, click the back button to exit and return to your Manage Event dashboard.

Why can’t I preview my schedule?

To preview your schedule, click the ‘Preview’ button in the top right-hand corner of the Scheduling tab in the Create Event process.

Once your event is published, or saved as a draft, you and view the public event page and click on the Schedule tab to view the events schedule.

How can I add facilities for my event?

You add facilities to your event when you go through the create event process.
