How to assign tests to classes and enter scores

Updated over a year ago

Dressage Scoring and E-Scribing Process

Key Steps

  1. Access the manage event dashboard and navigate to the operations tab.

  2. Under the operations tab, proceed to the judging section which includes classes, scorecards, and judges.

  3. Select a class and assign a test (e.g., USEF Training Level Test 2) to it by choosing the appropriate scorecard.

  4. Add judges to the class by either editing the event page in the staffing section or through the scoring panel.

  5. Enter scores for each movement based on the test card, considering coefficients for accurate scoring.

  6. Calculate the total score and percentage based on the assigned scores.

  7. Save the scores to rank participants and review/edit them if necessary.

  8. Optionally, attach a file for scorecard documentation or add remarks for custom feedback on movements.

  9. Finalize rankings, determine prize money for top performers, and publish order of go, scores, and prize distribution.

Cautionary Notes

  • Ensure accurate selection of tests, judges, and scoring to maintain fairness and consistency.

  • Double-check scores and calculations to avoid errors in ranking and prize allocation.

  • Maintain data privacy and security when handling participant information and scores.

Tips for Efficiency

  • Pre-populate judges in the event page staffing section to streamline judge selection during scoring.
