What is the refund process for bookings paid with KrisFlyer miles?

This article explains how refunds are processed for bookings made with KrisFlyer miles. Please note, KrisFlyer Miles is a different payment method from KrisPay Miles.

When a booking request paid with KrisFlyer miles is unsuccessful

If your booking paid with KrisFlyer miles is unsuccessful, your miles will be refunded to your KrisFlyer account. This process may take up to 6 weeks from the date of the booking.

For partial refunds involving KrisFlyer miles, a Pelago credit code will be issued.

When a confirmed booking paid with KrisFlyer miles is later cancelled

If your booking is cancelled within the activity’s cancellation period or qualifies for a refund, your KrisFlyer miles will be returned to your KrisFlyer account. This process may take up to 6 weeks from the date of cancellation.

The refund of your KrisFlyer miles will be reflected in your KrisFlyer account.

Please allow up to 6 weeks for the refund of KrisFlyer miles to be reflected in your KrisFlyer account. To locate the refund:

  1. Log in to your KrisFlyer account on the official Singapore Airlines Website.

  2. Scroll down to "Recent Activities".

  3. Click on "See complete statement".

If you have not received your KrisFlyer miles refund after the 6-week processing period, please contact us for further assistance.

Your KrisFlyer miles will retain the original expiry date that it had prior to your use.

If your KrisFlyer miles were set to expire before the refund, an extension of the expiry date may be possible, subject to the discretion of KrisFlyer Membership Team.
