The PayPal Debit Card is required for every driver before being able to accept orders on the platform. It allows our Drivers to operate without the need for having cash in hand, ensures every transaction is accurate, it simplifies the checkout process and guarantees your earnings are deposited to the correct account.

Once your PayPal Debit Card has arrived, we can quickly and easily verify it within the Pelican Delivers Driver App.

Verifying Your PayPal Cash Card
Step 1: Activate your card
When your PayPal Debit Card arrives, PayPal will provide instructions to activate it. Follow those instructions to activate your PayPal Debit Card first, then proceed to step 2.
IMPORTANT: Make sure the card you received and are attempting to verify is the PayPal Debit Card and not a PREPAID PayPal Card. It should look similar to this:
You must verify a physical card and not a virtual card not provided by the PayPal App.
Step 2: Login to Pelican Delivers Driver App
Open your Pelican Delivers Driver App and login to your driver account.
Step 3: Verify PayPal Card
You will then be prompted by our PayPal Verification Tool.
Click the "Verify PayPal Card" button to begin.
Next, enter in your PayPal Cash Card number, followed by the Expiration Date, CCV and Billing Zip Code.
Now that your card information has been entered, it's time verify that the information is correct, and that its communicating with our system correctly.
Open up your PayPal account and go to your recent activity. In the PayPal App, it's under the Payments tab.
You should see a DEPOSIT of $2.00 (to ensure no overcharge fees), followed by a WITHDRAWAL of an amount between $1.90 - $1.99
The WITHDRAWAL or CHARGE should come from Vendor "SQ *SMOOTH PAY".
Enter in the WITHDRAWAL amount (between $1.90 - $1.99) and click Submit.
If the amount is entered is correct you will see a Success screen!
Click the "HOME" button to access the Pelican Delivers app. You are now verified and able to accept order requests.
If the amount entered is incorrect you can try again OR you may need to contact Customer Support for further assistance.
Not seeing any deposits in your PayPal account?
If you do not see the deposit it could be pending awaiting your approval.
Please check your regular email account for an email from PayPal with instructions on accepting the $2 deposit from Planet Store LLC.
You may need to check Junk/Spam folders as well for this email.
If you are unable to locate this email, please contact PayPal support directly and inquire about allowing deposit/withdrawals from "Planet Store LLC".
Still not seeing any deposits or withdrawals/charges?
Go back to the Add Card screen and re-enter your card details.
If your having difficulty getting back to that screen, close the app out and reopen to begin the process over from the beginning or contact customer support by clicking on the chat icon in the lower right hand screen of the app or website.
I don't see any deposits or withdrawals from Pelican Delivers but I see other transactions. Which one am I looking for?
Deposits will come from "Planet Store LLC".
Withdrawals/charges will come from "SQ *SMOOTH PAY" or "SQ *PLANET STORE".
