When you join or start a call in Pencil Spaces, you will be able to configure your audio and video settings before entering by clicking "Adjust video and audio."

Here, you have the ability to switch between webcams, microphones, and speakers. You can also test to make sure that each device is working.

To change your device settings during a call, navigate to the video conferencing toolbar, select the “3 Dots” Icon and click "Audio and video settings".

The same settings will appear, and you will be able to configure your camera, microphone, and audio.

If you have multiple audio or video devices plugged in, you’ll be able to change them here. Additionally, you can also test your audio, and change your speaker settings from this menu.

From there, click on the “Down Arrow” Icon that correlates with the device you want to change. This will open a small dropdown menu listing all the available devices.

In the advanced settings, there are two options: "Turn off your video and participant video to improve performance", and "Enable advanced noise cancellation".

Advanced noise cancellation prevents background noise from being heard during your video call. To turn it on, just make sure the checkbox is selected.

If you select the option to turn off video to improve performance, keep in mind that this only turns off video when your connection gets weaker or when performance is lower.

Once you’ve finished adjusting your device settings, click the blue “Done” button in the bottom right corner to save your changes.
