Everyone knows that sticky notes have a cult following in the world of education, so we needed to make sure that educators could use them in our online classroom. Let's take a look at the Stickies feature and how it can be used in Spaces.

1. Using Stickies

To use Stickies in Spaces, follow the steps listed below:

  1. Once you've logged into Pencil and jumped into a Space, navigate to the toolbar at the bottom of your screen and click the "Sticky Note" button.

  2. Clicking this button will highlight the button in blue and change your cursor to mimic the button icon. From this point forward, clicking anywhere on the screen will place a Sticky in that location.

  3. Once you've clicked to place your Sticky, you will automatically be given the option to start typing. Once you've finished typing, you can move the Sticky wherever you like on the board.

  4. If you want to get rid of your Sticky, select it, and then click the "Delete" button located directly above the Sticky in question.

2. Need More Help?

If the article linked in the section above doesn't help, please reach out to our team as soon as possible for additional assistance. Either:

  1. Click on the "Messenger" icon at the bottom right corner of this page, and follow the onscreen instructions.

  2. Click the "?" Button at the top right corner of your screen in an active Pencil Space on a computer to start a conversation with our team.

If it's easier, you can also email us directly at support@pencilspaces.com.
