If you are taking funds out of a Penny Pension we may require proof of identity and bank account.

1. How to certify the documents ๐Ÿชช

Please donโ€™t send us originals or photos of originals

Print a paper copy of your ID and Bank statement

Ask someone from the approved list (see below) to certify the copies.

The certifier must write: โ€œCertified to be a true copy of the originalโ€, then sign, date, and print their name and job title.

The certifier must not be related to you, live with you, or be in a relationship with you.

Youโ€™ll need to provide:

1. Evidence of your bank account

Either a spoiled cheque or a copy of your bank statement certified as a true copy of the original.

2. Evidence of your age

This should be a copy of your birth certificate, driving licence or passport certified as a true copy of the original.

Please do not send original documents.

2. Who can certify the documents ๐Ÿ‘จ๐Ÿพ ๐Ÿ’ผ

โ— Solicitor or notary

โ— Your local Post Office

โ— Doctor, Dentist or Nurse

โ— Bank or Building Society official

โ— Teacher or Lecturer

โ— Councillor or minister of religion

โ— Accountant

โ— Armed forces officer

โ— Job centre employee

โ— Serving Police Officer

โ— Social worker

You can find more details on certifying documents and a more extensive list on the GOV web page - https://www.gov.uk/certifying-a-document

3. How do I send my evidence? ๐Ÿ“ซ

Please always post both your certified ID and Bank statement together to our scheme administrator's address: Quai Administration Services, Penny Pension, 16 Tesla Court, Innovation Way, Peterborough, PE2 6FL.

Please ensure that you include your return address on the envelope in case your package gets lost in transit. It is also recommended that you use post tracking to make sure you know the location of your envelope at all times and keep your postal receipt (if applicable).

You can also take pictures or paper scans of the certified copies to ensure you have evidence of their creation.

*Penny Technology Ltd or Quai Investment Services Ltd are liable for any documents lost or not received when sent via post
