The short answer is that it varies.

Penny will reach out to the pension provider that is holding your pension to confirm they’ve got your money and get lots of info about it. 💻

Some pension providers respond quickly - within a week - while some of the older schemes can take a lot longer! 🐌 As soon as we receive any policy information, you'll be sent a notification and it will display in the app.

Once we've found your pension, there'll be a 14-day cool-off period before it's added to our transfer queue. During this time you can cancel the transfer if you wish, either within the app or by speaking to our support team.

After the cool-off period is up the pension will be added to our transfer queue. Transfers can take several weeks, and like finding your policy information, depends on how quickly the other provider processes the request.
