There may be times when you need to delete an existing performance review in PeopleHR.
If no employees have started the review yet, you can simply delete the template. However, if employees have already added information, we recommed you disucss with the employee or manager whether it's okay to delete it and start again.
Delete a performance review
To delete the performance review.
Click Access Button
then click HR Admin.
Click Settings then click Performance.
Click the relevant review then click Delete.
Unable to delete the performance review
If you've followed the steps above but were unable to delete the performance review, this is because an employee has it in progress.
To check which employee has it in progress, follow the steps below.
Click Access Button
then click HR Admin.
Click Queries then click the plus + icon.
In the first column, select Performance then select the following:
Performance Name
Performance Start Date
Employee Performance Status
Manager Performance Status
Click Next then apply the relevant filters.
Click Next then enter a name, description and category.
Click Next then click Options.
Select Include leavers and Show history.
Click Save
As an admin, you won't appear in the query. Because of this, you need to check that it isn't you who has the review in progress. You can delete other users' performance reviews; however, another admin will need to delete the review from your record.
Once you've deleted or closed all open reviews, go back to Settings then open the performance template. From here, you can delete all questions and segments.
