In the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) within PeopleHR, you have two types of approvers when requesting or creating a vacancy:
Job Approvers: Upon creating and saving a vacancy, if you specified any job approvers, the vacancy status becomes Pending and they receive a request email to approve or decline this vacancy.
Offer Approvers: If you set offer approvers, you extend the pipeline stages, introducing the Awaiting Approval stage. Your candidate moves to Accepted if your offer approvers authorised the offer.
To add approvers, follow the steps below:
Click Access Button
then click HR Admin.
Click Settings, then click the ATS tab.
Click Approvers, then click the plus icon.
Specify your hiring leads for this vacancy and set up approvers.
Specify which company, location, and department requires an approver for either a vacancy or a job offer.
Click Add, then specify if anyone can approve, all must approve, or if they approve in a specific order.
Then click Save.
πNote: Any changes made in settings will apply only moving forward, not retrospectively, and even if you are an admin of the system, the setup won't allow you to override the rules.
Any approvers will receive an email with details and an option to approve or decline the vacancy or job offer.
