You can add three types of questions to your vacancy:

  • Applicant.

  • Internal.

  • Audio or video.

When creating a vacancy, you can copy similar questions from other vacancies.

πŸ“ŒNote: Once you create a vacancy, you can't change the question types unless you want to update the existing and future applicant records.

To add an applicant question, as an admin, follow the steps below:

  1. Click Access Button image then click ATS.

  2. Click ATS, and at the bottom of the page, click the Vacancies icon.

  3. Click the plus icon, then click Questions, and add your question.

    • Your candidate can view the applicant questions when applying for a vacancy.

    • Your candidate can't view the internal questions. Only your admins, hiring manager or hiring lead can address them. For example, internal questions are great if you'd like your hiring manager to input answers to questions asked in an interview.

    • Your candidates can answer your questions using audio or video files.

  4. Select the field type.

πŸ“ŒNote: By default, only the Agency option would have a sub-section and this can not be triggered to show for other items.

  5. If relevant, set this question as one of the below, then click Save.

    • Mandatory: Your candidate can't save their application unless they enter content.

    • Private: Your candidate's questions and answers aren't visible to the Hiring Lead.

    • Demographic: For tracking equal employment opportunity questions about an applicant's protected classes.

πŸ€“Tip: Drag and drop to reorder questions. Red ones are mandatory and locked ones are private.
