To assign a public holiday template to an employee, follow the steps below:
Click Access Button
then click Employee.
Select the relevant employee then click Planner.
From the public holidays list, select and apply the relevant template.
Click Settings then select or clear Entitlement Includes Public Holiday? as required.
If you wish the public holidays to be included in an employee's entitlement, add the number of public holidays in this year's employee's entitlement. Then any public holidays that fall on a working day for that employee are automatically booked from their entitlement.
If you don't include the public holidays in an employee's entitlement, the employee is still on a public holiday template. This will simply display as a non-working day for an employee and will not affect the entitlement.
πNote: It is not possible to assign the templates in bulk to employees or set a public holiday template for a future date. The date section is just for notation purposes. Instead, make the change on the desired day.
π€Tip: To allow the holidays to show in their planner calendar, ensure that you select the related public holiday template in the employee planner.
