Add or edit options in drop-down lists

Add or edit options that appear in drop-down lists.

As an admin, to edit and add to many lists within the system such as the lists, follow the steps below:

  1. Click Access Button image then click Employee.

  2. Select an employee record and in any list, select Manage This List.

    • To add your new option, press Return on your keyboard then click Done.

    • To rename an option, click the option you wish to rename and type to rename it. Click Done.

    • To delete an option, next to the option you wish to delete, click the X. Click Done.

πŸ“ŒNote: If there is no X next to the option, this means that the option is currently in use somewhere else in the system and therefore you can't delete it.

Currently, there is no report you can create to show all the areas where a location and department is currently being used. Check the below areas.

  • Employee Leaver Personal: An Employee or Leaver is assigned to this option

  • News: This option has been given specified access to a News post

  • Company Document: This option has been given specified access to a Document

  • Employee Proxy Setting: A user has specific edited access rights to this option. Leaver with access rights query.

  • Authorisation Rule Setting: An Authorisation rule is specific to this option

  • Accrual Rule Setting: An Accrual rule is specific to this option. Check both Holidays and Other Events

  • Project Timesheet Rule Setting: A Project assignment is specific to this option

  • Performance Review Setting: A Performance Review is specific to this option

  • Notification Setting: A user has been specified to receive notifications for this option

  • ATS Vacancy: Vacancy is assigned to this specific option

  • Logbook Settings: Logbook is filtered to this specific option

  • Ripple Schedule: A ripple has been manually scheduled to this specific option

  • Tap In / Out Location: A Geofence location has been filtered to this specific option

  • ATS Settings Approvers: Default approver rule has been assigned to this specific option

  • ATS Settings Hiring Lead: Default Hiring Leads have been assigned to this specific option

  • Document Template: A Document Template is assigned to this specific option

  • Poll Group: In relation to Pulse Surveys on the mobile app, this option has been specified to answer a survey. Each Admin would need to check their own app

  • Benefits Setting Employment Type: Flexible Benefits are filtered to this Employment Type

πŸ“ŒNote: This is an admin-only area and the elevated access rights will allow the users to amend the option that is in place but not the dropdown lists.
