Schedule ripple
When scheduling your ripple, you specify who this should trigger for and when. To do this:
Click Access Button
then click HR Admin.
Click Settings then click Ripple.
Select the star
icon next to the relevant ripple.
Click Add new items then choose either Query or Manual.
To gather a group of employees that meet custom criteria, select Query.
For example, find employees with five days remaining entitlement, or employees approaching their probation end date.
For a specific group of employees based on some standard employee information, select Manual.
For example, employees in the sales department with the employment type Full Time.๐Note: Your ripple is active as long as it's showing as Subscribed.

Query | If you select the audience via query, set the following:

Repeat | This feature stops an action from repeating for an employee unless you set a repeat interval. For example, if set to 2 days, the action will only repeat if the employee is still in the query after 2 days.
๐Note: You can not set set a specific date for the ripple to repeat only set date intervals. |
In the Automation Ripple list, select the ripple you just created.
Add a relevant description.
If you want to trigger the ripple immediately, leave the Effective Date blank. If you want to schedule it to run on a specific date, enter an effective date.
๐Note: Background ripples run every 20 minutes.
To start triggering the ripple for new starters, select Start immediately for new starter.
To set the ripple to repeat for an employee, enter a relevant number of days. Otherwise, the ripple doesn't repeat.
๐Note: Ripple is not triggered for leavers who already left the company. Once the final day of employment passes, they will be exited from the ripple.
