The Employee record includes all core HR fields related to an employee. Each daily data sync captures a current snapshot of the employee's data, comparing it to the previous day’s snapshot to identify any changes. If changes are detected, the employee profile is updated with today’s effective date.
When People Analytics is first activated for your company, it sends an initial set of three years’ history in quarterly snapshots up to the current date. As a result, historic changes to fields before your first data sync have an effective date rounded to the nearest quarter.
