Manager overview of the Goals and Objectives app

An overview of the Access Evo Goals and Objectives app for managers.

As a manager, within the Goals and Objective app in your Access Evo (previously Access Workspace), you can create, view and request feedback for your team members' objectives as well as manage your team's check-ins.

In the drop-down menu at the top left, you can view your own information and select your direct reports.

Create an objective

To create an objective, follow the steps below.

  1. In your Access Evo account, click +Add New then select who the objective is for.

  2. Complete the mandatory fields then click Next step.

  3. Enter a key measure title then enter a description.

  4. Select the relevant key measure metrics then click Finish.


Update a key measure

To update your progress on an objective, follow the steps below.

  1. Click View for the relevant objective then click the Measures tab.

  2. Update the progress field then click Save All.


Request feedback

To request feedback on a team member's performance on an objective:

  1. Click View for the relevant objective then click Feedback.

  2. Click Request Feedback then select who to request feedback from.

πŸ“ŒNote: If you don't have the option to request feedback, this means your PeopleHR administrator has switched the functionality off.


Complete an objective

To mark an objective as complete, simply click View for the relevant objective then click Complete objective.


Check-ins

The check-in functionality supports regular one-to-ones between employees and managers. To manage check-ins, click the Check-Ins tab.

Start Check-in

Here you can add notes prior to, during, or after the check-in. These are visible to you and the employee.

Skip a check-in

If you or an employee are unable to attend a check-in, you can skip it. To do this, follow the steps below.

  1. Click Start Check-in then select the Skip Check-in check box.

  2. Select the relevant reason then click Submit.

Book a check-in

Employees and managers can schedule dates for their next check-in.

Check-in history

The check-in history provides an audit trail to you and the employee of previous check-ins. To add new and check previous comments, click View Notes.

Check-in statuses

To view the status of a check-in, open the employee selector drop-down menu. The statuses are:

  • Check-in due: They haven't booked or completed a check-in.

  • Check-in booked: They've booked a check-in.

  • Check-in completed: They've completed a check-in or their manager has skipped the check-in.
