How do I Approve Facebook Permissions?

This article will help guide you to improve advertiser approval.

Once you have on-boarded, the next step before being able to see your customised advertising is to approve Facebook Permissions.

If you have been given this document by one of your businesses’ colleagues/employees please proceed to Step 6.

Step 1

Clicking the submit button during the ‘Get Started’ interactive setup will bring you to the “Advertising & Content” page.

If you are using a mobile or tablet device you will need to continue this process on a Desktop or Laptop computer.

Step 2

On this page click the “Approve Advertiser Approval Now!” button

This will bring you to Facebook Business manager
If this does not occur it could be that you have pop-ups blocked on your browser.

Enter this URL in a new window or tab to continue:

Step 3

Select the Facebook Business Manager account that owns the Facebook Page you are connecting with Retail Partner Portal.

If you don’t see this selection page move on to the next step.

Step 4

You will now be faced with two different scenarios depending on whether you are an admin or an employee on the Facebook Business Manager account that the Facebook page is associated with.

If you see this page then you are an admin and can approve advertiser approval yourself.

(If you do not see the page above then continue directly to Step 5)

Click the blue “Approve” button to approve advertiser approval.

Once you have done this, return to the previous tab with Retail Partner Portal open in it and refresh the “Advertising & Content” page. You will now have full access to Branded advertising through Retail Partner Portal.

If you see this page then you are an employee on the Business Manager Account and cannot approve advertiser approval yourself.

In order for your admin to approve advertiser approval they must follow Step 6 below.

Step 6

If you are an admin of a Facebook Business Manager account that has received a request from Retail Partner Portal for one of your Facebook Pages, then follow the quick guide below.

Go to this URL once you have signed in with your personal Facebook account:

On this page, select the Facebook Business Manager account that owns the page in question.

Then on the next page you should see the following:

Click approve in the top right of the received box.

Once this is done, you can inform your employee accessing Retail Partner Portal that the request has been approved.
