Peptalkr can send 3 types of email:

  1. πŸ“… Transactional - emails that are triggered by Cliniko data

  2. πŸš€ Campaigns - marketing blasts (βœ… this article)

  3. ▢️ Automations - marketing journeys

Learn about all three of them in our introduction to email.

Campaign emails are marketing blasts that you can send to:

  1. πŸ‘€ Your patient database - a list (i.e. audience) Peptalkr automatically imports, containing your opted-in patients.

  2. πŸ₯’ A specific group of patients - a segment you can create inside your database.

  3. πŸ“° Any other list / audience you import - a custom list can be used to email people who aren't Cliniko patients.

Some important points about campaigns:

  • You can send them immediately or schedule it to send at a date/ time of your choosing.

  • You can measure the performance of your emails such as opens, clicks and unsubscribes using our built-in email stats.

Need to send a non-marketing blast?

If you have a non-marketing announcement to make - such as a price increase or privacy policy update, try sending a one-off blast Transactional email instead.
