Contacts Page Overview

In this article, you will learn what you can do on the Contacts page, how to add or import contacts, how to use Groups, and where to find shared activity on the Contact Detail Page.

Contacts page overview

Use Contacts as your hub for managing client relationships.

  • Add contacts before you share listings and reports

  • Invite clients to Perchwell when they need a client portal

  • Organize contacts with groups

  • Review shared activity from the Contact Detail Page

Contacts page access

Steps:

  1. Click Contacts in the top navigation

From Contacts, you can:

  1. Click Add Contact

  2. Import contacts with Bulk Upload

  3. Open a contact profile


Contact creation

Create a contact when you onboard a client or before you share listings and reports.

Steps:

  1. Click Add Contact

  2. Enter the required fields

    • First name

    • Last name

    • Email address

  3. Add optional details

  4. Turn on Invite to Perchwell to send an invitation

  5. Click Add Contact

Import contacts with Bulk Upload

Upload a CSV to add multiple contacts at once.

  • Click Add Contact

  • Select Bulk Upload


Organize contacts with groups

Use groups to segment contacts by status, relationship, or workflow.

  • Actively searching

  • Sold

  • Open house leads

Group assignment

Steps:

  1. Open Contacts

  2. Click a contact name

  3. Click Edit Profile

  4. In Grouping, assign the contact to one or more groups

  5. Click Save Profile

Shared activity review (Contact Detail Page)

Use the contact profile to see what you shared and what the contact engaged with.

Steps:

  1. Open Contacts

  2. Click a contact name to open the Contact Detail Page

From the Contact Detail Page, review:

  • Shared listings

  • Shared searches

  • Shared reports


Tips

  • After you invite a contact to Perchwell, you cannot update their email address.

  • Add up to five additional email addresses to a contact.
