Accessing the Custom Boundaries Filter
Select Filters: On the search page, click the Filters button.
Choose 'Draw Boundary': Under the Locations section, select Draw Boundary to access the boundary drawing tool.
Create Your Custom Boundary: A pop-up window will appear, allowing you to draw and customize your boundary based on your desired area.
Steps to Creating a Custom Boundary
Enter an origin address in the Locate Bar to pin the address to your map or interact directly with the map to find your area.
Click to Begin: Using the polygon option, click anywhere on the map where you'd like your boundary to begin. Continue clicking to define the shape of the area you want to include in your search. Listings within the boundary will populate automatically.
Alternatively, you can use the circle boundary to set specific radiuses by miles from a specific starting point on the map.
Custom Boundary Types:
Inclusion Polygon: Draw a custom shape on the map. Listings inside this shape will be displayed.
Inclusion Circle: Define a circular boundary to display listings within the circle.
Exclusion Polygon: Exclude areas from your search by drawing a polygon. Listings within this shape will be filtered out.
Exclusion Circle: Similarly, use a circular boundary to exclude listings from specific areas.
Things to Remember:
When creating a custom inclusion polygon or circle, listings within that boundary will be generated based on your active search filters.
Use the exclusion options to further refine your results by removing certain areas from your search.
