PerfectMatch: AI Shopping Quiz works with all Shopify themes that support Online Store 2.0 (app blocks). This includes all free Shopify themes, all themes published after 2021, and most popular paid themes.
PerfectMatch requires an Online Store 2.0 theme with app block support. Legacy themes (pre-OS 2.0) that do not support app blocks are not compatible.
Not sure if your theme supports app blocks? In the theme editor, if you see an "Add block" option inside sections, your theme is compatible.
The quiz can match your theme automatically
PerfectMatch doesn't just work with your theme — it can look like part of it too:
When you create a quiz, the design step includes a "Your store" style preset that uses colors detected from your live theme, so the quiz matches your branding out of the box. Five more presets (Minimal, Neutral blue, Editorial, Warm, Dark) are available if you prefer a different look.
In the quiz builder's Styles tab you can fine-tune the primary, background, and text colors — or reset them to your store's detected theme colors at any time.
