Importing Buildings from a Spreadsheet

When you business owns or manages a large number or buildings you like us want to save precious time.
We've made it possible to import buildings from a spreadsheet document.

Important:  Importing buildings will remove existing buildings and groups for the selected site, use with caution.

Prepare your Spreadsheet Document

Open your favorite spreadsheet editor, Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel or equivalent.
With a new sheet, add the following column structure with no header column.

  • Column 1 - Name of Building Group (optional)

  • Column 2 - Name of Building (required)

  • Column 3 - Square footage (optional)

  • Column 4 - Target Score for minimum cleanliness range target (0 - 100)

  • Column 5 - Target Score for maximum cleanliness range target (0 - 100)

  • Column 6 - Target Score for minimum Customer Satisfaction range target (0 - 100)

  • Column 7 - Target Score for maximum Customer Satisfaction range target (0 - 100)

  • Column 8 - Address: Line 1 (optional)

  • Column 9 - Address: Line 2 (optional)

  • Column 10 - Address: Locality e.g. City or Town (optional)

  • Column 11 - Address: Administrative Area e.g. State or Region (optional)

  • Column 12 - Address: Postal Code (optional)

  • Column 13 - Address: Country (optional)

  • Column 14 - Number of Floors in the building (optional)

  • Column 15 and on - Names of Floors in the building

Save the document as a CSV, XLS or XLSX file.

Import your buildings

Log in to your account and go to "Account Setup"  here you will be directed to "Account Info / Sites".  
You will need to select the site you want to add the buildings to in the Sites panel on the left.  

To add a building or import buildings, click the plus icon next to Buildings. 

Here you can add one building, but we're going to use the import feature to add many buildings.  Click on the "Import Buildings?" link.

As you have prepared your spreadsheet, you will just need to choose the file to upload.

Rememeber: This import will remove existing buildings and groups for the selected site.

Now your buildings should be imported saving you much valuable time.
