Once you have downloaded the application, you'll be asked to sign-in to your account. If you've already got an account, go ahead and enter your email address and password.  Alternatively, if you're new you will need to create an account before using the application.  

While in the Android application click the Sign Up button, this will take you to a browser window to continue the sign-up process.  

During the sign-up process, you'll be asked a few questions to get your account setup quickly. We'll do some hard work like give you a Building Populated with common rooms you'll likely have.  
Be sure to check your email account for a verification link to complete your setup process.

Once you've created your Performance Driven Management account, you can return to the application and sign in with the credentials. 

Note: The android application at this moment is intended for inspecting only, and thus management of Site's, Building's etc is not possible.  
You can easilyCreate a Site or Create Building using the web interface. 

Given you have signed into, you will see all the Account's you have access to. 

Selecting an account will take show all the Site's within that account.  

Now You'll see all the sites available to inspect on your account.  Sites are designated collections of buildings usually clustered together with a single address.  Learn how to add a new Site.

Let's begin your first inspection by tapping on "Begin Inspection".

In your site, you will see all the buildings.  Learn how to add a new Building.

Select a building that you wish to inspect.

Each building can have an unlimited amount of floors.  

Select the floor you want to perform the inspection on.  Usually, this would be the physical floor you're currently on.

Room Types are a kind of room template, allowing easy grouping of similar rooms.
At this point you've selected the floor you're on and now you're going to select a type of room to inspect. 

During setup, we pre-populated your account with a default set of room types to choose from. 

Choose a room type that fits the room you're going to inspect, in this case, we will select "Break Room".

When selecting a Room Type we're offered the option to choose an existing room or create a new one with this Room Type template.

We're going to create a new room from the template here.

We will be asked for information on where the room is located.  Afterall, knowing where the physical room is, allows clear identification of problems that can be resolved. 

Now we have a room, on a floor, in a building.   We can now start asserting our measurements on the items within the room.
The Room Type templates would have filled the room with industry defaults, you can add and remove items where needed. 

When you select an item, the right side context menu will offer the ability to mark the item with a defect or as satisfactory.  You can learn more about defects and why they are important to record.

While you're inspecting you will see live updates of inspections, inteviews, and readings submitted and the calculations of these results.

When you've finished inspecting their are two options

When you're finished inspecting for this day and want to save your current progress and continue in the near future.
This will make available Daily Inspection Reports for other members to download that will include the inspection conducted from your device.

When you have finished a full inspection and want to submit this full inspection.
These reports will be considered final and are comprehensive in describing key performance metrics for the whole inspection period, including a continuous improvement metric that takes into account changes that highlight your program’s ability to eliminate and prevent continued defects from the cleaning program.
