Your Performance Leader dashboard is designed to make performance management effortless. Whether you're updating objectives, giving feedback, or managing your profile settings, everything you need is right at your fingertips.

This guide walks you through the key features of your dashboard—from scanning for important actions to using the objectives carousel for quick updates. By the end, you'll know exactly how to navigate your dashboard with confidence and efficiency. Watch the video below for a quick walkthrough, then explore each section below for step-by-step guidance.

Scanning Your Dashboard for Key Actions

Your dashboard surfaces the most important information and actions as soon as you log in, so you can quickly see what needs your attention.

  1. Activity snapshot: At the top of your dashboard, you'll see a snapshot of recent activity. Toggle this to view a broader range of information.

  2. Prominent actions: Look for highlighted cards showing actions like providing feedback, completing reviews, or updating objectives.

  3. Scroll for details: As you scroll down, you'll find cards displaying useful information—tasks that need completion, objectives you can click into for more details, and snapshots of activities that haven't been addressed recently.

  4. Module information: Further down, you'll see information from other activated modules, such as check-ins, along with related actions.

From your dashboard, you can scan key information, make updates, and take action—all from one page.

Updating objectives with the objectives carousel

The objectives carousel is designed to help you review and update your objectives quickly and meaningfully—turning what might be a 10-minute task into just 2-3 minutes.

  1. Click 'Update Objectives': At the top of your dashboard, click the 'Update Objectives' button to open the carousel.

  2. Review your objectives: Swipe through your objectives one by one. Each objective displays key information for quick review.

  3. Toggle active status: Use the smart toggle at the top to mark whether an objective is active or not. If an objective is no longer relevant, the status options adjust automatically.

  4. Add comments: When making an update, you can add comments to provide context or highlight major changes.

  5. Skip if needed: If an objective doesn't require an update, simply skip to the next one.

  6. Completion confirmation: Once you've finished, you'll receive a confirmation message (and some confetti, because updating objectives is worth celebrating).

Managing your profile settings

Your profile settings give you control over your workspace, notifications, and personal preferences.

To access your profile, click your profile icon in the bottom left-hand corner of the screen. From here, you'll be able to do things like:

  1. Toggle dark mode: Switch to dark mode if you prefer a different viewing experience.

  2. Update settings: Click into 'Settings and Extras' to update your profile picture, control email notification settings, review security options, manage uploads, and view financial data.

Using Private Notes

The private notes feature allows you to capture performance-related information that's visible only to you—perfect for reflection, preparation, and tracking your own thoughts.

  1. Access private notes: From your profile menu, select 'Private Notes'.

  2. Add notes: Create notes for check-ins, reflections after receiving feedback, or any other performance-related information you want to keep private.

  3. Update anytime: You can add comments and update your notes at any time.

Note: Private notes are not reportable, exportable or included in any of Performance Leaders AI and analytics tools. That said, when admin users act as a user, they will be able to see private notes by going to that users profile.

Flexible navigation menu

The smart navigation bar helps you create a cleaner workspace by hiding information that's not currently relevant.

  1. Toggle sections: Click the toggles in the navigation bar to hide or show different sections of your dashboard.

  2. Focus on what matters: Collapse sections you don't need to give yourself more working space and reduce visual clutter.

Control Email notifications

Control which email notifications you receive to stay informed without being overwhelmed.

  1. Open profile settings: Click your profile icon in the bottom left corner.

  2. Navigate to notifications: Select 'Settings and Extras', then 'Email Notification Settings'.

  3. Customise preferences: Choose which types of notifications you'd like to receive, such as reminders for objectives, feedback requests, or review deadlines.
