Edit navigation menu language and order

This guide covers reordering modules, updating module language, enabling/disabling modules, and configuring module settings for Super Admins.

Managing your system's navigation and language settings is straightforward and gives you complete control over how your team experiences Performance Leader. In this guide, we'll walk you through viewing and organising system modules, reordering your navigation menu, updating module language, and exploring configuration options.

Understanding module status

When you view your modules list, you'll notice different states depending on your subscription.

  • Active modules: These are currently enabled and visible to users in your navigation menu.

  • Inactive modules: These are disabled and won't appear in the navigation.

  • Locked modules: Modules you've created but not yet subscribed to will show as locked with a link to a demo video. You'll need to contact your Customer Success Manager to unlock these modules.

Reordering navigation menu modules

The structure of modules in your settings reflects exactly how they appear in your navigation menu. Changing the order here will immediately update what your users see.

  1. In the modules list, locate the module you want to move.

  2. Click and drag the module to your desired position.

  3. Release to drop it in place.

  4. The change takes effect immediately—refresh your page to see the updated navigation menu.

Updating module language

You can customise the language used for each module to match your firm's terminology and preferences.

  1. Click on the Configure option for the module you want to update.

  2. Click into the module heading field.

  3. Enter your preferred language or label (for example, changing "Objectives" to "Goals").

  4. The change applies immediately across the system.

Enabling or disabling modules

Control which modules are visible to users by toggling them on or off.

  1. Click on the Configure option for the relevant module.

  2. Toggle the module on (active) or off (inactive) using the enable/disable switch.

  3. Changes take effect immediately.

Additional configuration options

Beyond basic language updates, you'll find several other configuration options within each module's settings. These allow you to:

  • Configure specific module settings and behaviours.

  • Customise language within the module experience itself.

  • Set empty states (what users see when there's no content yet).

  • Create page alerts to communicate important information.

These advanced options will be covered in separate resources, but it's worth exploring them to see how you can further tailor the system to your needs.

Note: All changes to navigation order, module language, and settings are applied immediately. There's no need to save or publish changes—what you update is instantly reflected across the system.
