Fast Feedback reporting and analytics

Learn how to use Fast Feedback Analytics in Performance Leader to review engagement, analyse sentiment, track feedback quality, and export reports.

The Fast Feedback admin area gives you insight into how your team is using feedback across your firm — engagement trends, activity by segment, and top contributors — and lets you export the underlying data for reporting or archiving. This guide covers the Engagement dashboard and the export tools.

Accessing Fast Feedback reporting

  1. Click Manage Apps from your admin menu.

  2. Select Fast Feedback to open the module's admin area.

  3. It opens on the Engagement tab, which shows the Fast Feedback engagement summary by default. (The other tabs are Configuration & tools and Feedback for Good.)

Setting your date range and scope

Before reviewing the numbers, set what data you're looking at:

  1. Use the date range selector at the top to choose your reporting period.

  2. Apply the Department, Role, and Location filters to scope the data by segment.

  3. Use the Giving / Receiving toggle where shown to switch the perspective of a panel.

The scope you set applies across the whole dashboard, so the panels update together as you adjust it.

Understanding the engagement summary

The Engagement tab gives you a snapshot of Fast Feedback activity for the selected period and scope:

  1. Review the summary cards — Feedback given, Feedback requested (with the change vs the previous period), Pending requests, and Unique contributors.

  2. Read the Fast Feedback activity chart, which plots feedback given and requested by day.

  3. See the Employee spotlight highlighting the top contributor for the period.

  4. Scroll down for Types of feedback, Segment engagement coverage (by department, position, and location), the Segment activity rankings, and Top contributors.

Hover over the info icons throughout to see how each figure is calculated.

Sentiment and quality analysis

Sentiment analysis and AI feedback-quality scoring are no longer part of the Fast Feedback module — they now live in Performance Intelligence, alongside the other AI-powered lenses. For those analyses, see the Performance Intelligence guides on Sentiment and Quality (Fast Feedback in Performance Intelligence).

Exporting your reports and data

You can export the dashboard as a PDF, or export the raw data to Excel.

Export the dashboard (PDF)

  1. Set the date range, scope, and filters you want.

  2. Click Export PDF at the top right of the Engagement tab to download the current view.

Export the raw data (Excel)

  1. Open the Configuration & tools tab.

  2. Under Tools, click Export data to open the Export Feedback Data dialog.

  3. Choose an Export Type — Consolidated, Separated, Requested (Pending), or CSR Contributions.

  4. Optionally choose a Feedback Template, tick Include Quality Analysis, and set a Date range.

  5. Click Export to Excel to download.

With these tools you can track feedback engagement, spot trends across segments, and pull the data you need for reporting or archiving. If you have any questions, reach out to our support team.
