Add documents to a review

How to add documents to your account, how they appear in a review through Review Resources, and how admins enable the feature and upload files on behalf of a user.

Documents such as PDFs can be brought into a review so that everyone involved can see them in one place. In the new system these files appear in a Review Resources panel inside the review. This guide covers how you add a document to your own account, how it shows up in the review, and what admins need to do to turn the feature on.

Add a document to your account

You can upload documents to your own profile at any time. Anything you add here can then be shown in your review.

  1. Click your profile in the bottom left, then choose Settings & Extras.

  2. Open the Uploads section.

  3. Click Add Attachment.

  4. Drag and drop your file into the upload area, or browse to select it.

Your document is now saved against your account. If you have a review open in another tab, refresh it to see the file come through.

See your documents in a review

Once a document is on your account, it appears inside the review in the Review Resources panel.

  1. Open the review.

  2. Click Review Resources on the top right-hand side.

  3. A slide-out panel opens, showing the documents attached to that person.

Any file added to a user's Uploads — whether they added it themselves or an admin added it for them — will show here. If you have just added a file, refresh the page to see it appear.

Enable “Attachments” under review resources

For admins. Enable the “attachment” option within the resources tab from within the review. Once it is on, the panel becomes available to users.

  1. Open the review.

  2. On the right-hand side, find the Review Resources option.

  3. Toggle it on.

The Review Resources panel is now available for that review.

Add a document on behalf of a user

For admins. If a document needs to be added for someone — for example, a partner's file — you can upload it to their account from Manage Users.

  1. Go to the Manage Users section.

  2. Find the person you want to add a document for.

  3. Click the eye icon to open their profile.

  4. Scroll down to the attachments area.

  5. Click Add Attachment first, then drag and drop the file into the area.

The file is now saved against that user's account. Refresh to confirm — it will appear in their profile Uploads and in the Review Resources panel within the review.
