The Performance Leader community is a private, invitation-only space for clients. It brings together symposium and webinar recordings, best-practice sessions, and conversations with people doing the same job at other professional services firms.
The community is hosted on Circle (a separate platform from Performance Leader). This guide explains what is in the community, how to get access, and how to get set up.
What you will find in the community
Recordings — sessions you can watch whenever suits you, including:
Client Symposium 2026 — the Equity Partner Contribution and Reward survey findings, the client panel on AI in people performance, the RemCom platform walkthrough, and the Performance Intelligence session
Best Practice Group — recordings from our quarterly sessions, including review management and email campaigns in V6, and reporting and insights
Discussions — where members ask questions and share what has worked at their firm. This becomes more valuable over time as more people participate.
Start here and Say hello — a short orientation and a place to introduce yourself.
Quick links — shortcuts to the support portal and support site.
Coming soon: Admin 101, self-paced courses, and change collateral and toolkits you can adapt for your firm.
Why it is worth your time
The recordings are not published anywhere else. If you missed a symposium session or a Best Practice Group, the community is where you can catch up.
The longer-term value is the other firms. Many of the questions administrators bring to us — how much guidance to include in a review form, how to increase partner engagement, when to run a cycle — have been solved (or stress-tested) elsewhere. A thread with a few peers is often more useful than a support article, including ours.
Who can join
The community is designed for people who administer Performance Leader at your firm.
It is not limited to administrators, though. If someone else at your firm would benefit — a project sponsor, an HR or L&D lead, or someone preparing to take over administration — your Customer Success Manager can add them too.
Getting access
Because the community is invitation-only, you cannot sign up directly. Access is arranged through your Customer Success Manager.
Ask your CSM for access, and tell them who else at your firm should be added.
They will add you to your firm’s space and send you an invitation.
Follow the invitation to create your account.
If you are not sure who your CSM is, contact support and we will point you in the right direction.
Setting up your account
Circle is separate from Performance Leader. Your Performance Leader login will not work, so you will create a new account.
Open the invitation and follow the link.
Create your account. Use your work email address so we can recognise you as a client (and so colleagues can find you).
Complete your profile. A name and photo is enough.
Introduce yourself in Say hello. Share a couple of lines about your firm and what you are working on — it makes it much easier for others to respond.
Finding your way around
The left-hand menu is grouped into three parts:
Welcome — Start here and Say hello
Resources — Recordings, Discussions, and Admin 101 (when it launches)
Links — shortcuts to the support portal and support site
Inside Recordings, you can filter by Best Practice Group or Client Symposium, and sort by latest.
Elsewhere in Circle you will find search, a bell for notifications, and bookmarks to save posts for later. Use New post to start a discussion or ask a question.
Choosing what you hear about
Two common reasons people drift away from communities are (1) too much email and (2) not realising anything has changed. Both are fixable in your notification settings.
Open your profile icon and go to Notifications. You can choose whether to receive email, in-app, and push notifications for different kinds of activity.
If you are unsure where to start, a sensible default is:
notifications on for replies to your posts and comments
a weekly visit to catch up on everything else
Circle also has a mobile app if you would rather follow along there than by email.
If you have trouble getting in
The invitation has expired or you cannot find it — contact your Customer Success Manager and they will send a new one.
You already have a Circle account from another community — Circle accounts work across communities, so sign in as normal and the invitation will add ours to your list.
Anything else — contact your Customer Success Manager, or reply to the invitation email and we will sort it out.
