Pro users get hundreds of Pro Searches per day. You will be able to use Perplexity's Pro models and Pro Search and Reasoning features for this purpose.
Powerful AI models and Search Modes
Pro Search Models: When you need detailed answers with extensive sources, choose from Sonar (in-house model), GPT-5, Claude 4.0 Sonnet, or Gemini 2.5 Pro. These models deliver comprehensive responses with multiple references.
Reasoning Search Models: For complex analytical questions, select from o3 (or o3-Pro for Max users), or Claude 4.0 Sonnet Thinking (Claude 4.1 Opus Thinking for Max users) and Grok4. These models excel at breaking down complicated queries that require multiple search steps.
Best Mode: For quick searches, this default mode intelligently selects the most appropriate model based on your query type.
Research Mode: This mode automatically selects the optimal combination of models for in-depth research on complex topics, generating comprehensive reports without manual model selection.
Labs: Tackles complex projects on your behalf. Labs has access to the most advanced tools and can craft everything from reports and spreadsheets to dashboards and simple web applications.

Switching between models
You can switch between Search Modes and models in an existing Thread via the search box.

Join the Pro Discord channel via the invite link in your Perplexity account menu. Email support if the link has expired.

Subscription management
Make sure to cancel your Pro subscription before deleting your account.
If you subscribed on a desktop, cancel through your settings page. For app subscriptions, use your device’s subscription management settings.
Why is my Pro status not visible?
If your Pro status isn't showing up:
Check for payment issues.
Make sure your billing information is correct.
Verify you're logged in with the correct email.
Clear your cache and cookies.
Try resetting the app.
