Free shipping: for a short period only, Perplexity will cover shipping costs, so you only pay for the item you actually want to buy.
How does Shop Like a Pro work?
Sign up for a Perplexity Pro subscription. Perplexity Pro offers access to all the leading-edge models like GPT-4o and Claude 3.5 in one app, uses advanced multi-step reasoning capabilities, and gives you access to Shop Like a Pro.
Search for a product and Perplexity will respond with 3-5 product cards containing the information you need to make a decision.
Click ‘Buy With Pro’ and fill out your details. We’ll save these on file, so you only need to do this once!
What is the difference between ‘Buy With Shop Pay’ and ‘Buy With Pro’?
‘Buy With Pro’ is a native Perplexity checkout experience that allows you to buy a variety of e-commerce products with one-click checkout. Buy with Pro is currently only available to Perplexity Pro subscribers in the US. If Buy with Pro isn’t available, we will refer the user to the merchant website to checkout. For merchants (like Shopify) who have granted us access to their APIs, we can offer distinct checkout experiences like “Buy with ShopPay.”
Why are some products eligible for Buy with Pro?
We can only support Buy with Pro with merchants who are compatible with our agent checkout experience. We are working to expand the library of eligible products offered through Buy with Pro, but to start, we support the categories we believe will be the most popular with shoppers.
How do you decide which products to recommend when a user asks a question?
Just as our answer engine ranks sources based on authority and relevance, we rank product listings using similar criteria. We surface product cards that are tailored to the user’s query, which means that the more specific you can be in a query, the more relevant of results we can surface for you.
Merchants who give us access to more product details like availability, reviews, and specs will be more likely to be recommended by our answer engine. If you are a retailer interested in joining merchant program, please fill out this form to receive additional information.
Are product listings sponsored?
No, all product listings are determined by our algorithm based on relevance and ratings. Advertisers cannot pay to list their products in our “related products” section, since one of our core principles is that advertising should have no influence over organic results. However, advertisers can ask a sponsored question where their product is included in an answer.

Enabling Pro Search is not required for Shop Like a Pro, but can help provide more detailed and tailored product recommendations.
How do I get started?
Sign up for a Perplexity Pro subscription. You can sign up by visiting perplexity.ai/pro or through Google Play or the App Store.
Search for products to see 3-5 product cards, some examples of queries that would enable Shop like a Pro would be:
Headphones for 99$ or less.
Foundation for oily skin.

Use the Buy With Pro button to make purchases.
Where can I see my purchase history?
You can see your order and purchase history by visiting perplexity.ai/settings/purchases
Who do I contact about product-specific questions?
If you have specific questions about a product, you can ask follow up questions by referencing the product in the same thread if you reference the product and Perplexity will give you responses.
If you have specific questions that Perplexity is not able to answer or would like to contact their support directly, you can contact the brand or retailer directly through their customer service channels
