Deferred Compensation Eligibility Error Messages
By clicking the “Enroll” button, your eligibility is verified. If you’re deemed not eligible, you will see a popup message detailing your ineligibility and the factors/reasons associated. If you feel that your ineligibility is in error, please review the possible explanations below before seeking additional assistance.
Below, please review the explanations as to why a Member is not eligible for the Deferred Compensation Plan. If possible, complete another enrollment form with the advice listed below for a more successful outcome.
“You are not eligible to enroll because records indicate that you are not a member registered with a coach account.”
If you’ve received this error message, explanation of the error can be found below along with steps to enroll successfully.
The enrollment website supports two types of users: Coaches (members) and Golfers.
It’s possible you have both a PGA Coach user and a Golf user (for Junior League, family cup, etc.).
However, only the PGA Coach account would be tied to your membership record.
This error means that you are logged in with the “Golfer” account instead of the “PGA Coach” account.
To login without issues, please follow these steps:
Logout from the “Golfer” account by visiting https://my.pga.com/logout.
Please visit the enrollment page again, where you must login with your OneLogin account information. This information is the same as used to log into PGA.org.
Please log into PGA.org and ensure there are no login issues. Then, you can use those same credentials to easily access and complete Deferred Compensation Plan enrollment
“You are not eligible to enroll because records indicate you are not a PGA member”
This message indicates you are logged in with a OneLogin account that does not belong to a PGA Member.
Only Members in good standing are eligible for the PGA’s Deferred Compensation Plan. Associates, students, and other OneLogin users are not eligible for participation in this program.
“You are not eligible to enroll because records indicate your membership status is not active”
If you receive this message, you currently do not have a membership status of “Active” or “Ineligibly Employed.” PGA Members in a suspended status – and other statuses as detailed in the Plan guidelines – are not eligible for Deferred Compensation until they regain their active status.
“You are not eligible to enroll because records indicate you are a current PGA employee”
This error message indicates that your primary facility is PGA of America, and employees of the PGA are not eligible for participation in the Deferred Compensation Plan.
“You are not eligible to enroll because records indicate you are not part of an eligible member class”
This error message indicates that official PGA records identify you as a member in Class F (Delinquent PDP Requirement) or HM (Honorary Members). Members who fall into these categories are not eligible to participate in the Deferred Compensation Plan.
