If you’re having trouble saving a Care Plan, there are a few common things you can check before reaching out for help. Follow the steps below to resolve the issue.

Why can’t I save a Care Plan?

Care Plans may fail to save if there are incomplete sections or temporary session issues. The most common cause is an empty section header or sub-header within the Care Plan.

How to fix the issue

Try these steps in order:

1. Check for blank section headers or sub-headers

  • Review the Care Plan carefully.

  • Look for any section headers or sub-headers that don’t have content beneath them.

  • Remove any blank headers or sub-headers.

  • Try saving the Care Plan again.

💡Tip: Even a single empty header can prevent the Care Plan from saving.

2. Log out and log back in

If removing blank headers doesn’t resolve the issue:

  • Log out of your account.

  • Log back in.

  • Reopen the Care Plan and try saving again.

This helps refresh your session and can resolve temporary issues.

Still having trouble?

If the Care Plan still won’t save after trying the steps above, contact support for further assistance. When reaching out, include:

  • A brief description of what’s happening

  • Any error messages you see (if applicable)

This will help the support team investigate and resolve the issue faster.
