How to Use Phamily's Message Templates

Ever find yourself writing the same message to multiple patients over and over? Save some time with Phamily's message templates.

With Phamily's Message Templates you can send pre-written templates to patients. Your Phamily account is equipped with a variety of templates and you can write your own.

Creating a Message Template

1. Click on your Initials in the top right > Message Templates

3. Click on Type and Select the type of Template you want to create

4. Click on Name and give your template a name

Using your Message Template

1. Open a Patient Profile and click the Pencil icon in the message field

Here are some tips on writing a successful message template

  1. Keep the message 130 characters or less if possible. There is a character counter in the template builder to help you keep track.

  2. Include a question at the end of messages to keep the conversation going.

  3. Leave the name variable in the template to personalize the message.

  4. Name the template something unique that's easy to find in the system.
