Web
Use Phase at https://www.phase.ag.
Web is best for billing, larger imports, setup and detailed review workflows.
Mobile
The mobile app is best for quick farm access, paddock review, inventory checks, weather, chat and field use.
Some setup or billing actions may open on web.
The Android app has been submitted to Google Play but is not available until Google approves the listing. Until Phase Ag appears in Google Play in Australia, use Phase in the Android browser. The web app and iPhone app are unchanged. When the Android listing becomes available, sign in with the same Phase account; Android push notifications are not yet supported, so job and service alerts arrive by email.
On supported iPhones and vehicles, Phase can also show a driving-focused farm map in Apple CarPlay. Open Phase on the phone and let the farm finish syncing before connecting to CarPlay.
Mobile bottom navigation is Overview, Map, Agent, Inventory and More. Under More, Planning & Imports contains Crop Plan Studio, Crop Plan Import, Actuals Import and Templates. Data Centres contains Spatial, Yield Center, Soil Centre and other data tools.
On desktop, the main navigation includes Plan for Crop Plan Studio. Spatial is opened from More → Data Centres, not from the desktop top navigation.
Customise Overview widgets
Overview widgets can be rearranged, resized and hidden, including livestock panels.
Open Overview.
Hold a widget until the layout starts to wiggle.
Drag it to a new position to reorder.
While editing, use a widget’s corner button to resize, or − to hide it.
Use Widgets next to Done to bring hidden widgets back, or reset to the recommended layout.
What to use each for
Use web when you are doing heavier setup or review work, such as:
Importing crop plans, soil tests, yield files or large invoices
Managing billing
Reviewing large tables
Setting up integrations
Exporting larger report packs
Use mobile when you are in the paddock, ute or shed and need to:
Open the map
Check a paddock plan
Add a Note, photo or follow-up update
Look up inventory, label or SDS details
Check weather and rainfall
Send a support message
Apple CarPlay
CarPlay uses the farm snapshot cached by the Phase iPhone app. It can show paddock boundaries and names, the paddock you are currently in, today's work and nearby paddocks, saved Notes, and available Crop Vigour or soil map layers.
Open Phase on the iPhone once with reception and let the farm finish syncing. Crop Vigour now keeps imagery already available on the phone, tops the car cache up progressively and can hold imagery for the full farm. Putting the phone away during a later refresh no longer clears the imagery already available to CarPlay.
Use Plans to open today's work or the nearest paddocks. Use Notes to browse nearby pins. The layer control cycles through the available layers for that farm. You can also add a Note at the vehicle's current position; it is queued back to the phone and saved when Phase syncs.
When you approach a saved Note, CarPlay may show a proximity alert with an option to navigate to it. Treat map positions as a field aid: keep attention on the road and confirm hazards and locations safely before acting.
If CarPlay says to open Phase on iPhone, open the app, select the correct farm, wait for it to load and reconnect. CarPlay can keep showing its last cached farm snapshot when mobile coverage drops, but new phone changes need a completed sync before they appear.
If the app looks out of date
Try refreshing, signing out and back in, or updating the app from the app store when available.
Same account, same farm data
Use the same Phase login on web and mobile. If the mobile app appears to show different data, check that it is signed into the same account and farm workspace.
Large imports and billing are usually easier on web. Quick paddock checks, weather, inventory lookups and support messages are useful from mobile.
If web and mobile disagree, do not create duplicate records immediately. First check farm workspace, season, internet connection and whether sync has finished.
