Where can I find my downloaded media?

When downloading your media, there are a few places where you can choose to save your files. This article will guide you through the various options. Select your operating system or device on the right-hand side to go to your relevant section.

Please Note: Cloud storage services often sync files across devices, so downloaded photos may appear in multiple locations if such services are in use.

Please Note: There is a limitation with iOS' in-app browsers (for example, when opening a gallery link in the Facebook app) which doesn’t allow zip file downloads. Because of this, depending on how photos are downloaded, you may receive an error. Follow this article to resolve the issue.

Downloading to Desktop Devices

  • Google Chrome: Downloads are saved to the default location set in Chrome’s settings. For instructions on identifying and managing the default location, refer to this Google Chrome Help article.

  • Safari: Files are downloaded to the default folder set in Safari’s preferences. To locate this folder and manage the default settings refer to Apple Safari Support.

  • Microsoft Edge: To manage downloads in Edge, refer to Microsoft Edge Support.
    The Windows Downloads folder is a common location for downloaded files. To locate this refer to Microsoft Support.

Downloading to Mobile Devices

Depending on the device, downloads may appear in the Files app or in your device's Photos app.

iPhone and iPad

  • Media downloaded from your gallery's mobile app can be found in the Photos app. The files will sync by the date they were created.

  • Media downloaded from via the browser can be found through the Files app. Refer to Apple Support for guidance on how to locate the Files app on your mobile device.

Android
