How do I crop a photo in my order?

When ordering images from your photographer’s store, you might want to customize the cropping of certain pictures to perfectly match the dimensions of the items you're considering. Frames and prints come in a variety of sizes, sometimes requiring adjustments to ensure your chosen image is presented just the way you envision it in your home. This article will guide you through how to crop a photo in your order.

Please Note: Due to varying aspect ratios in print sizes, cropping is often necessary and may result in significant portions of the image being cut off. To learn more about how aspect ratio affects the crop on your photos, read our article here.

Cropping Quick Buy

1. While scrolling through the gallery select the quick Buy button to view standard print options.

2. Select the Prints product and your preferred size.

3. Here, you have the flexibility to tailor the cropping of your image to fit the dimensions of the item you're interested in before finalizing your purchase. Select the Edit Crop button.

4. Next, fine-tune the cropping by utilizing the zoom bar and adjust the image to position itself precisely within the desired dimensions for your purchase.

Cropping from the Shop

1. From your photographer’s Shop, select the item you wish to purchase. Then, pick your desired Size dimension for the image.

2. Once everything is in place, you can adjust the crop by selecting Edit Crop when hovering over the image at the bottom of the page.

3. After selecting, you will enter an image editor where you will click the Crop icon.

4. From here, fine-tune the cropping by utilizing the zoom bar and adjust the image to position itself precisely within the desired dimensions for your purchase. You can also adjust the Orientation by selecting between the Landscape or Portrait options.

5. Click Done, when you’ve completed the cropping process.
