We know that it can also be a hassle to go through hundreds of photos in search of a special selection of them. Fortunately, you can easily sort your photos for convenient searching and sub-categorizing by simply attaching details to your photos.

From the app’s home screen, you can search for any detail you’ve added to a photo such as manually added photo descriptions or scanned photo text, dates, locations, and face-tagged people saved to a photo. The more specific you get, the easier it will be to instantly find multiple photos with a common theme from within your entire collection (i.e. locating every photo with the name ‘Michael’, or all the photos from 1972, etc.)

So you can add details to the photos - see here the way to add details to photos - and then search for photos of specific people, places or years and perform batch actions on them (as is they were in a sub folder).
