Got your sensor charged? Great β€” let's get it connected to your phone. Pairing only takes a minute and you'll only ever need to do it once.

πŸ“‘ Pairing Your Sensor

  1. Wake up your sensor β€” give it a tap or a shake. Within a few seconds it'll start broadcasting and appear in the app

  2. Open the Phreno app on your iPhone or iPad

  3. Go to Settings β†’ Bluetooth within the app

  4. Select your device from the Nearby Devices list

  5. Tap Connect β€” after a brief moment, you're paired!

Once paired, you're all set. From now on, your sensor will connect automatically every time you open the app, as long as it's nearby and charged.

βœ… How to Know It's Connected

Look for the status indicator in the top-right corner of the app β€” it'll show Connected in green when your sensor is successfully linked. You can also head to the Bluetooth settings page in the app to see your sensor's current firmware version.

πŸ”§ Having Trouble Connecting?

Don't worry β€” here are a few things to try:

  • Check the battery β€” make sure your sensor is charged and close to your phone

  • Toggle Bluetooth β€” turn it off and back on in your iPhone's settings

  • Plug the sensor in briefly β€” even just for a moment, this can help reset the connection

  • Shake the sensor β€” after a period of inactivity, the sensor enters sleep mode to save battery. A little shake will wake it right back up

  • Restart the Phreno app β€” close it fully and reopen it

If you see a firmware update prompt after connecting, just follow the on-screen instructions to get the latest version installed.
