🧽 Cleaning Your Sensor

  • Wipe the sensor housing down with a slightly damp cloth after use

  • Avoid submerging the sensor in water or using harsh chemical cleaners

  • Make sure the charging port stays dry and clear of debris

🌡️ Storage Tips

  • Store your sensor at room temperature when not in use

  • Avoid leaving it in a hot car, direct sunlight, or freezing conditions for extended periods — this can affect battery health over time

  • When storing for a long period, make sure the battery has some charge before putting it away

🧲 Replacing the Mounting Tape

  • If the 3M adhesive weakens over time, replace it with 3M VHB Tape 4991 (0.5 in width) — the same tape that comes pre-installed

  • Clean the sensor surface with isopropyl alcohol before applying new tape, and make sure it's fully dry before pressing down

🛠️ General Tips

  • Give your sensor a quick once-over before each session to make sure it's firmly mounted

  • If the housing feels loose or damaged, contact our support team before your next use
