Picol will launch 2L/2S leverage tokens to replace 3L/3S leverage tokens

From May 10, 2021, Picol will gradually release 2L and 2S leverage tokens of some trading pairs to gradually replace the existing 3L and 3S leverage tokens, reduce the frequency of deleverage and reduce risks.

Trading pairs with large fluctuations can easily trigger deleverage of 3L and 3S leverage tokens, resulting in poor trading experience. The leverage ratio range of 2L products is 1.6-3.5, and that of 2S products is 1.2-3.5, which can reduce the frequency of deleverage and improve the trading experience while maintaining a high leverage ratio.

When 2L and 2S leverage tokens are released, the corresponding 3L and 3S leverage tokens will not be able to open new robot orders or manual purchase orders, and robots can still be closed or sold manually.

Existing orders related to 3L and 3S leverage tokens will not be automatically closed after the release of 2L and 2S.

The following trading pairs will gradually release corresponding 2L and 2S products after May 10, 2021:

Transactions will temporarily suspend transactions for 3L and 3S leverage tokens during the release of 2L and 2S leverage tokens.

Example: Jack had a 1000 USDT AAVE3L grid robot running before the release of AAVE2L/2S, and held 500 USDT AAVE3S. After the release of AAVE2L/2S, Jack's above two orders will still run normally, but it is impossible to open new AAVE3L, AAVE3S robot or manual trading orders. If Jack still wants to leverage on AAVE, he can use AAVE2L for trading.
