MirrorMe Booth Print Colors Are Incorrect?

This article will describe how to resolve the color of your prints when they are printed from MirrorMe Booth

Overview

The purpose of this guide is to assist with installing the correct Color Profiles for your DNP printer. Are you noticing that your prints are a bit faded? Then this guide is for you. The steps below apply to the following printers: DS40, DS80, and DSRX-1.

Required Steps

[A] Download the Printer Color Profile
[B] Install the Printer Color Profile
[C] Adjust the Printer settings

[A] Download the Printer Color Profile

The first thing you need to do is download the necessary files for your printer. Please download and install the correct Color Profiles for your printer by clicking the link below.

You will need to extract the file. Right click on the file and click "Extract to.."

[B] Install the Printer Color Profile

Now that the file is extracted, double click on the folder. Within the folder you will see three files. Right click the DNP Printer that you use and click INSTALL PROFILE

[C] Adjust the Printer settings

After the profile has been installed, it's time to select it within your printer settings. In order to do so, go to Printers & Scanners (You may search this in Windows in order to access it). Once you're in the Printers & Scanners window, click on the name of your printer. Beneath the name of your printer, click Manage. On the left hand side, click Printer properties. The GIF below will demonstrate the steps:

Within the Printer properties, click the Color Management tab. Within the Color Management tab, there is a Color Management... button. Click the button then a new tab will be opened. Once you are in the new tab click the correct printer from the drop down list. On the very top there will be a setting that you need to enable. Click the checkbox that says USE MY SETTINGS FOR THIS DEVICE. The GIF below will demonstrate the steps:

It's time to select the profile that was installed in step A. Click the add button and choose from the list the "IMSA_RX1_2014-02-28_BL (ushi)". Once you add that, click on the old color driver and click remove. Click close and OK. Make sure to close MirrorMe Booth if it is open.The GIF below will demonstrate the steps:
