Overview

The PicPic Social app allows your guests to share photos directly to Facebook. This guide will instruct you on how to enable Facebook sharing within your event settings.

Required Steps

[A] Create/Edit An Existing Event
[B] Enable Facebook Sharing
[C] Modify Facebook Settings
[D] Update/Create Your Event
[E] Sharing To Facebook On Your Sharing Station

[A] Create/Edit An Existing Event

Login to your PicPic Social dashboard here and create a new event or edit an existing event.

[B] Enable Facebook Sharing

Enable Facebook within your Event Sharing Options.

[C] Modify Facebook Settings

Modify your Facebook Settings as desired:

Allow user entered message - Enable this if you want to give your attendee the ability to enter their own messages from the iPad sharing station.

[D] Update/Create Your Event

Scroll down to the bottom of your event and click Update Event or Create Event if you are making a new event.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Remember to press UPDATE on the Device Server to see the changes reflected on the Sharing Station if you are editing the event.

[E] Sharing To Facebook On Your Sharing Station

We've included pics on how to share photos from your Sharing Station since we've recently updated the feature.

Select the image you would like to share to Facebook.

Select the Facebook icon to share to it.

Input your Facebook credentials to login.

Give the PHOTO SHARE app permission to post to Facebook on your behalf by pressing Continue. You cannot share to Facebook without enabling this.  

Add a message along side your image share if desired. If not simply press Post to share the Microsite Link to your Facebook page. Facebook no longer allows 3rd party software to post images directly to a users' page. 

Once you are done press finish to continue sharing.
